Icarian PB1, a Techno DJ and producer, has been active in the music scene since the nineties. He started his career at the age of 16 and gradually became a resident player in the iconic Prague club Slunicko. He performed at many Techno events throughout Central Europe as Flashback (the biggest event was the first performance of Prodigy in Prague, after the fall of the totalitarian regime). With the advent of digital DJing, he switched to creating and playing his also to play his own tracks live, under the new name Icarian PB1. This name is a deliberate homage to the first Czechoslovak science fiction (Ikarie XB1 from 1963) and utopian Ikarians. Currently, you can catch him in the Radost FX club in Prague (another legendary venue), Cross Club, and cozy Balbi Club, where he regularly hosts the leading personalities of the Czech and Central European Techno scene. The Icarian PB1 is known for its versatility. He performs as a digital DJ, classic vinyl DJ, and live act, showcasing his passion for all forms of musical expression.
