Visionary dance music sound designer, arranger and engineer Si Brown, is a highly regarded UK-based artist, who’s style is marked by a unique blend of experimentation with a firm grounding in the timeless essence of familiar genres such as house and techno.

Honing his craft in his South London studio, he created EPs, such as “On a Mission” that showcase his talent for crafting infectious beats and hypnotic melodies. Si Brown’s extensive remix catalogue and one off tracks on VA compilations like the  “Dark Matter VA” also at “BCR” further cements his reputation as a truly underground electronic dance music producer who is thriving to bring his best in any project and demonstrates an ability to mark his style in a variety of genres, including Techno, House and D&B.

Si Brown has been artist on Bass Controllism Records since the beginning in 202. This label is renowned for fostering artistic freedom and encouraging creativity. It provided the perfect platform for Si Brown to unleash his musical vision through various projects.

Si Brown’s creative process is fuelled by his ongoing addiction to collecting vinyl records, DJing experience and a deep understanding of modern music theory.  Living in the London region he was also influenced by genres such as UK House & Garage, Hardcore, Jungle & D&B which were and are a strong part of local musical culture. These influences shine through in his productions, resulting in a distinctive style. Through this, he was able to explore new territories and experiment with unconventional sounds to push the boundaries of conventional genres. 

Si Brown intends to continue to captivate listeners with each release and expand the boundaries of conventional genres and grow as a DJ bringing his own unique style.
