Ricky El-Qasem, from Manchester, is a relatively unknown DJ who cut his teeth in the 90s. Ricky took a break from partying and DJing to pursue family and work. Fast forward to 2022, Ricky rekindled his interest in the music software he'd been experimenting with in the late 1990s and started producing electronic music across genres such as techno, House, Acid, and Breakbeat under the pseudonym Dark Utopia, with several releases to his name.
